Consulting
Your ambition.
Our shared work.
We help colleges and universities build future-ready computing programs and develop the talent to lead them.
Our experience
We help public and private institutions — particularly HBCUs, minority-serving institutions, and community colleges — navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of computing education. We work alongside academic leaders to develop new programs, prepare for ABET review, build assessment frameworks, create experiential learning ecosystems, secure funding, and strengthen student success pipelines. Our work is grounded in more than two decades of academic leadership, cybersecurity education, accreditation service, and hands-on faculty and student mentorship.
What we do
New computing program design (Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, AI, and emerging fields), curriculum development, state-level program approval preparation, and ABET accreditation readiness. Support includes criteria mapping, self-study and evidence preparation, assessment alignment, and mock review.
Our impact
Led multiple accreditation cycles across computing and cybersecurity programs and launched four new degree programs, with a fifth program in artificial intelligence under review.
What we do
Comprehensive assessment framework development, student learning outcomes design, program evaluation for continuous improvement, and state-level program review preparation.
Our impact
Developed comprehensive assessment frameworks for three computing programs, creating systematic approaches to measure and improve student learning outcomes.
What we do
Design and build multi-level experiential learning ecosystems that connect high school students, community college partners, university programs, and industry employers into a single pipeline. We help you create hands-on learning environments where students engage with real-world problems, from early exposure programs for high schoolers, to bridge partnerships with community colleges, internship and apprenticeship placements with industry partners. The result is a hub that feeds talent through every stage of the pipeline and makes your institution a regional anchor for workforce development.
Our impact
Received a $30,000 USM Elkins Academic Transformation Professorship to advance an Experiential Learning Center that expands hands-on learning and career preparation for computing students.
What we do
Grant and proposal writing for federal, state, and institutional funding — specializing in proposals for student scholarships, retention initiatives, and workforce development infrastructure.
Our impact
Secured more than $5 million in external funding, including NSF CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service and Henry Luce Foundation support.
What we do
Comprehensive retention framework design, enrollment growth strategies, initiatives to increase the participation of women and underrepresented groups in computing programs, and workforce placement pipeline development.
Our impact
Led strategies that significantly expanded computing enrollment and graduation while more than tripling women’s participation in the department’s programs.
What we do
Tech workforce pipeline creation, industry partnership development, experiential learning program design, and career placement strategies that connect graduates with employers.
Our impact
Built partnerships across higher education, government, and industry to connect computing students with applied learning, internships, and technology careers — work featured in The New York Times.
What we do
New department chair coaching, faculty tenure-track mentoring, graduate school planning for aspiring academics, and leadership transition support. We help new chairs navigate institutional climates and successfully lead their departments from day one.
Our impact
Doubled the number of faculty research labs, mentored faculty and students, and coached incoming department chairs through leadership transitions and institutional change.
